Financial Data Analyst (Project-Based)

Job Description

• Validate financial transactions and records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with policies.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies on time.
• Prepare and submit financial data reports to support management decision-making and statutory reporting.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
• Document reconciliation processes and findings to establish transparency and audit readiness.
• Support system/process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency in validation and reconciliation tasks.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address data validation and reconciliation issues and resolve variances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or related field
• At least 1 to 2 years experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, accounting, or auditing.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic performance may also be considered.
• Basic accounting principles and reconciliation methods
• Data analysis and financial reporting tools
• Understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) or reconciliation tools is an advantage and spreadsheet applications
