Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Cebu, Philippines (October 18, 2024) – LSERV employee, Ms. Archil Garcia, has been commended for her exemplary act of honesty and integrity. On October 2, 2024, Ms. Garcia found an eco-bag containing a mobile phone and cash.
The bag was left behind in the South Wing female toilet of the Airport Village at Terminal 1. Ms. Garcia, an airport cleaner, immediately reported the lost item to airport authorities, leading to the successful return of the belongings to the rightful owner.
In a commendation letter, Mr. Joseph Angeles, LSERV President, praised Ms. Garcia for her unwavering honesty and commitment to LSERV’s core values. He emphasized that she could have easily kept the money for herself but chose to do the right thing instead.
