LBP Service Corporation conducted an HR Summit on Labor Law Compliance last June 25, 2018 at the SMX Aura. The summit was to reorient clients on recent mandates from DOLE regarding illegal forms of contractual employment. Guest speakers Atty. Romeo C. Lagman, Atty. Luzviminda G. Padilla and former DOLE Secretary Marianito D. Roque discussed DOLE DO 174 and related articles to clearly define what constitutes illegal job contracting and opened the floor for a brief Q&A session from LBPSC’s clients. Afterwards, LBPSC officers took to the stage to present existing and new policies by the company to ensure that all parties are fully compliant with labor laws. This event marks the first in a series of initiatives by LBPSC to keep its clients updated on labor law compliance best practices.
